San Antonio police are currently searching for an unidentified man who robbed a Valero convenience store and injured an employee during the incident. The robbery took place on Wednesday, May 27, at the store located at 2950 SW Military Drive on the Southwest Side. According to reports, the suspect entered the store under the pretense of purchasing a beverage. When the 26-year-old female clerk opened the cash register, the suspect reached in to grab the money. A struggle ensued between the suspect and the clerk, resulting in her injury, before the suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect remains at large and has not yet been apprehended. Crime Stoppers of San Antonio is offering a cash reward of up to $,500 for information that leads to a felony arrest in connection with the robbery.
