Phoenix Police are actively seeking two suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery that took place at a thrift store located near the intersection of 27th Avenue and Indian School Road. The incident occurred on October 20, 2025, at approximately 6:00 p.m. According to police reports, the store was open to the public at the time of the crime. Surveillance video captures the primary suspect pulling a hammer from his pocket and using it to smash a glass display case. After breaking the case, the suspect grabbed a tray of jewelry and attempted to flee. During the escape, an employee attempted to block the suspects' path using a shopping cart. The primary suspect swung the hammer at the employee, but no injuries were reported. The two suspects then fled the scene together. At the time of the robbery, the primary suspect was described as wearing a white hat, a tan long-sleeve shirt, and tan pants. The second suspect was wearing a blue hat, a black shirt, and a medical mask. Although the stolen jewelry was not of high monetary value, authorities emphasize that the violent nature of the crime, involving the use of a weapon against an employee, is the primary focus of the investigation. Detective Mike Fisher of the Phoenix Police Department stated that the suspects may have committed similar acts in the past.
