The intruder confronted the elderly man, pointing a black handgun at him and demanding money. During the encounter, the suspect took the victim’s wallet, an undisclosed amount of cash, and two credit cards before fleeing the scene. Despite the traumatic nature of the event, the victim was not physically injured. The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, standing approximately 6 feet tall and weighing around 185 pounds. He has short brown hair and was reportedly wearing a white shirt that was pulled up over part of his face to conceal his identity. Detectives with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating the robbery and have not announced any arrests as of the time of this report.
