Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of Charlamon Stokes, 23, of Richmond, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Pettaway is wanted for allegedly discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling and is considered armed and dangerous. According to law enforcement, Pettaway was last seen on foot running southbound on South Pine Street. He is described as being 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 155 pounds.
