The incident involved a dark-colored car with license plate U889030 striking a 47-year-old man riding an electric scooter at the intersection of West 14th Street and Fairfield Avenue. The victim, identified as Myron Lashley, sustained severe injuries and later died on March 28 due to complications. Authorities report the vehicle fled the scene without stopping. New photos of the suspect vehicle were released on May 8 to aid the investigation. The suspect remains at large.
