The Federal Bureau of Investigation has added Fahad Mohamed Nur to the FBI Most Wanted Fraudsters list for his alleged role in the Feeding Our Future fraud scheme. Nur, a Minnesota man, is accused of receiving more than $5 million in fraudulent funds from the Federal Child Nutrition Program while serving as the principal of The Produce LLC, a vendor and purported food supplier. He faces federal charges including wire fraud, conspiracy to commit money laundering, and money laundering. According to the FBI, Nur has been at large since 2022 and is believed to be living in Somalia, where he has ties. The agency is offering a reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to his arrest and conviction. Nur is the second defendant tied to the Feeding Our Future fraud scheme to be placed on the list, following Said Abdullahi Ereg, a former South Minneapolis grocery owner who surrendered to authorities shortly after being named. The FBI states that the list is designed to draw public attention to fugitives accused of large-scale financial crimes.
