The Travis County Sheriff's Office has identified two suspects wanted in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in Northeast Austin. The incident took place in the parking lot of Bare Cabaret, located at 9705 Reservoir Court, shortly before 4 a.m. Authorities responded to a 911 call reporting shots fired after an altercation escalated among individuals present at the venue. The shooting resulted in the deaths of two victims: 19-year-old Layla Williamson, who died later at a local hospital, and 23-year-old VT Wood-Davion Olden Hornsby, who died at the scene. Both victims are residents of Austin. The suspects, identified as 19-year-old James Mackeise Shearrion and 20-year-old Kevin Curtis Parrish, have been charged with murder of multiple persons, a capital felony. As of the latest report, neither suspect has been located or arrested. Investigators stated that the parties involved knew each other and that there is no ongoing threat to the general public, though the scene was chaotic with approximately 400 people in the club and parking lot at the time. Deputies spent several hours clearing the area and interviewing witnesses. The investigation is ongoing, and additional warrants may be issued.
