Authorities in Logan, Utah, are actively searching for Benigno Queredo-Centreros, a 41-year-old man who remains at large following a domestic violence-related incident that occurred early Monday morning. The suspect is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall with a distinctive mohawk haircut and is considered armed and dangerous. The incident began between 6:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. when officers responded to a scene in Logan. By the time law enforcement arrived, Queredo-Centreros had already fled the location. He was subsequently spotted by Cache County deputies and a Utah Highway Patrol trooper traveling at a high rate of speed near 4200 West. The suspect abandoned his vehicle in a nearby field, where deputies observed him standing with what appeared to be a long rifle. The weapon was later confirmed to be a 20-gauge shotgun. In response to the threat, a Utah Highway Patrol helicopter, drones, and an armored vehicle have been deployed to assist in the manhunt. The Cache County Sheriff's Office and Logan City Police Department are urging the public to remain vigilant and to avoid approaching the suspect if he is spotted. No arrests have been made, and Queredo-Centreros has not been taken into custody. Investigators are asking anyone with information regarding his location or movements to contact local law enforcement immediately. The search efforts continue as authorities work to locate the armed suspect and ensure public safety in the Logan area.
