Houston Police Department officers are actively searching for an unidentified suspect believed to be responsible for a double homicide that occurred early Sunday morning in southeast Houston. The incident took place in the 12800 block of Glen Hollow Drive, where officers responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 2:20 a.m. Upon arriving at the residence, officers forced entry and discovered the bodies of a man and a woman inside the home. Both victims sustained fatal gunshot wounds and are believed to be in their 20s or 30s. Their identities have not yet been released to the public.

Investigators are treating the case as a homicide committed by an outstanding third party who fled the scene. Houston Police Lt. Pulido confirmed that detectives have ruled out a murder-suicide, noting that no weapons were recovered inside the house. While the two victims lived at the residence, the homeowner, who also resides at the property, told investigators he did not know them or their names. Authorities are treating the case as an isolated incident and have stated there is no broader threat to the public.

Detectives are currently reviewing footage from several exterior security cameras located around the house in an effort to identify the suspect and determine a motive. At this time, no suspect description or motive has been established. The Houston Police Department crime scene unit remained at the location into Sunday morning to process evidence.
