Wells, a Black male born on December 16, 1999, is currently at large and is considered armed and dangerous by law enforcement officials. Authorities have issued a strong warning to citizens, advising them not to approach the suspect under any circumstances but to contact police immediately if he is spotted. The incident took place on July 2, 2026, at approximately 2:15 p.m. in the 6100 block of Dwyer Road in New Orleans. According to investigative reports, Wells attacked a victim during the incident, taking property and causing injury. Notably, investigators state that Wells bit the victim during the assault, resulting in significant harm. A warrant for his arrest is currently on file with the court.
