The Gwinnett County Police Department is actively seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted for an assault that occurred in Norcross, Georgia. The incident took place on July 1, 2026, when officers responded to a report of an attack near the intersection of Old Norcross Tucker Road and Glenbrook Drive. According to police, the victim was walking in the area at approximately 7:05 a.m. when an unknown male approached her from behind, assaulted her, and then fled on foot toward Britt Road. The suspect is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male in his late teens to early 20s. He is estimated to be about 5 feet 7 inches tall with a slim build. His hair is described as short, black, faded on the sides, and curly on top. To aid in the identification process, the Gwinnett County Police Department collaborated with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. GBI forensic artist Kelly Lawson created composite sketches based on the victim's description, which are being released to the public. Detectives are urging anyone who recognizes the individual in the sketches or has information regarding his identity to come forward.
