Memphis Police Department officials are actively seeking two suspects in connection with a violent armed robbery that occurred in the Parkway Village neighborhood. The incident took place on July 12, 2026, at approximately 5:00 p.m. at Regency Jewelers, located on American Way near South Perkins Road. According to police reports, two men entered the jewelry store posing as customers before beginning to smash display cases using hammers. During the commission of the crime, one of the suspects was pepper-sprayed by a security guard. In response, the suspect assaulted the guard before both individuals fled the scene. The suspects are believed to have stolen approximately $80,000 worth of jewelry.
