The New York City Police Department’s 110th Precinct is actively searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred in Corona, Queens. The assault took place late last month near the intersection of 46th Avenue and 102nd Street. According to police reports, the 41-year-old victim was standing near the intersection when an unidentified man approached him and initiated a verbal dispute. The confrontation escalated rapidly when the suspect retreated to his black SUV, retrieved an unknown sharp instrument, and returned to stab the victim multiple times in the left arm and chest. Following the attack, the assailant immediately returned to his vehicle and fled the scene in an unknown direction. Emergency medical services transported the victim to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was initially listed in critical condition. Authorities have released surveillance footage showing the suspect exiting his vehicle to confront the victim. The individual is described as having dark hair and a thin build. In one image, he is seen wearing black-rimmed eyeglasses, a black T-shirt, black jeans, and black sneakers. A second image depicts him shirtless and without eyeglasses. The NYPD has not yet identified the suspect by name and continues to urge the public to assist in the investigation. A reward of up to $3,500 is available for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
