Mount Pleasant police are actively searching for 17-year-old Ronald Rallo Franklin, who is wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Geovonnie Amie. The incident occurred on June 24 near the intersection of 22nd and Racine Streets in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. According to authorities, Amie was shot during the altercation, managed to drive for three blocks, lost consciousness, and crashed into a parked vehicle before dying at the scene. Franklin remains at large, and an arrest warrant has been issued for his apprehension. Investigators believe Franklin is still located in southeastern Wisconsin. The family of the victim, including Alderman Nathan Pabon, who is the cousin of Amie's mother, has publicly appealed for information to help bring the killer to justice. Pabon has utilized his social media platforms to share details about Amie, describing him as a young man who loved to make people laugh, while emphasizing the family's distress over the lack of closure.
