The incident took place on Monday, June 29, at approximately 2 p.m., at For Eyes Optical, located in the 9600 block of Lost Knife Road. According to police reports, the suspect entered the establishment, selected various items of merchandise, and attempted to leave the store without making a payment. When a store employee attempted to intervene and stop the individual, the suspect produced a knife before fleeing the scene with the stolen goods. The suspect is described as a Black male, estimated to be between 35 and 45 years of age. Physical characteristics include a height of approximately 5 feet 9 inches, a weight of around 180 pounds, dark hair, and a beard. Authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant and to report any information that could assist in the identification or location of the individual.
