Canton police are actively searching for 16-year-old Savheon R. Monroe, who remains at large following a fatal shooting incident. Monroe is wanted in connection with the death of 19-year-old Jordan A. Horton, who was found deceased under a vehicle in a parking lot at the Skyline Terrace apartment complex on the morning of July 14, 2026. The shooting occurred in the 900 block of Alan Page Drive SE, where Monroe resides in southwest Canton. While Monroe has not been apprehended, his co-suspect, 25-year-old Jason L. Singletary of Canton, surrendered to investigators on July 15. Singletary has been charged with complicity to commit murder, felonious assault, and discharging a firearm near prohibited premises. He is scheduled for arraignment in Canton Municipal Court. Authorities emphasize that Monroe is still a fugitive and pose a potential risk to the public.
