Niagara Regional Police are actively searching for two suspects wanted in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in Niagara Falls, New York. The incident took place on the night of July 16 in a residential area on Thorold Stone Road. During the event, suspects approached the home of 35-year-old Mitchell Snoddon and shot him with a handgun. Snoddon succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital. Police have characterized the shooting as a targeted attack. The two individuals wanted for second-degree murder are 23-year-old Maroof Bangi and 30-year-old Josta Grace Macneal. Authorities believe that Macneal has ties to the Orillia area in Ontario. Detectives have identified that both suspects are believed to be operating a 2016 Toyota Camry with Ontario license plate DFWX808. The vehicle is described as having LED headlights and visible damage to the passenger side front and rear doors, as well as a large crack on the front driver’s side bumper. The vehicle was last seen on Highway 45 in Hastings, Ontario, near Peterborough. Police emphasize that no firearm has been recovered in connection with the incident, and the suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
