The Dallas Police Department is urgently seeking the public's assistance in identifying suspects responsible for a series of armed robberies at a convenience store located in the Oak Cliff neighborhood. According to investigators, the same group of individuals is believed to have targeted the establishment, situated in the 2200 block of Cedar Crest Boulevard, on three separate occasions within a span of less than three weeks. The incidents occurred on June 20, June 26, and July 9, creating a climate of fear among the store's employees and the surrounding community. During the first robbery, a single suspect armed with a gun forced employees to reopen the store at closing time and stole money from the register. The subsequent two incidents involved two suspects each, who similarly entered the store at gunpoint, compelled the staff to reopen, and took cash. The situation escalated significantly during the July 9 incident, where the security guard was also held at gunpoint and robbed of her firearm. DPD Robbery Detective Jose Jimenez stated that the repeated trauma has left employees terrified, prompting them to hire additional security. Despite these measures, the suspects remain at large. Police are hopeful that surveillance video from the location will help identify the individuals involved. Community members, including representatives from a nearby church, have increased their own security precautions and are urging anyone with information to come forward. Detectives believe that residents in the area may recognize the suspects. The Dallas Police Department is asking anyone with information regarding these crimes to contact Detective Jose Jimenez directly at 972-922-8659 to aid in the ongoing investigation and the identification of the wanted suspects.
