Titusville police are actively searching for two suspects who remain at large following a violent shooting incident that occurred early Saturday morning. The incident took place around 4:30 a.m. on Thomas Street in Titusville, Florida, where the suspects fired at least a dozen shots into an occupied residential home. At the time of the shooting, seven individuals were inside the house, including a baby, but fortunately, no one was wounded or injured during the scramble for cover. According to the police report, the two suspects fled the scene on foot before escaping in a light-colored sedan, which is believed to be a newer Mercedes-Benz or Lincoln. Evidence collected at the scene includes at least a dozen bullet holes, with at least one projectile penetrating a window. Interim Titusville Police Chief Wright condemned the act as a reckless disregard for human life, emphasizing the need for residents to feel safe in their homes. Neighbors reported hearing multiple gunshots that jolted them from their sleep, with some initially believing the noise came from a neighboring property. Security video obtained by investigators captures the two individuals firing shots from outside the home, running away, and entering the vehicle.
