Authorities in Forney, Texas, are actively searching for two teenagers, Jakob East-Walker, 18, and Mysiah Clark, 19, who are accused of fatally shooting a young woman inside her home on Sunday afternoon. The incident occurred on Eagle Ridge, where the suspects allegedly shot the victim in the presence of a child. Police Chief Carrie White condemned the suspects as cowards and urged the public to notify law enforcement immediately if they are spotted, regardless of the city. The victim, whose identity has not yet been released by the medical examiner, died at the scene. Her family declined to speak publicly due to the trauma of the event. Investigators believe the suspects fled the area on foot before boarding a vehicle, potentially an Uber or a ride-share service. The suspects have ties to Dallas and Mesquite. Clark is already facing serious legal issues, having been indicted in 2025 for the shooting death of a 15-year-old boy at a Dallas gas station. Although U.S. Marshals had previously tracked Clark down, he was released on a $100,000 bond with an ankle monitor. In June, the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office reported Clark for allegedly violating his electronic monitoring program by making unauthorized stops in Mesquite, leading to an active warrant for his arrest in early July. U.S. Marshals are now searching for Clark again, this time in connection with the second murder charge in Forney. Local, state, and federal authorities are utilizing home surveillance video and license plate-reading cameras to assist in the manhunt. Chief White emphasized that the Forney Police Department will not tolerate this type of violence and is committed to bringing justice to the victims and their families. The public is asked to remain vigilant and report any information that could lead to the apprehension of East-Walker and Clark.
