Virginia State Police are actively seeking Dennikia Rachelle Boyce, a 37-year-old Black female, who is wanted on murder charges in connection with the fatal shooting of two Virginia Department of Transportation contractors. The incident occurred just before 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 24, 2026, at an equipment yard located along Route 1 near the Route 288 entrance ramps in Chesterfield County. Upon arrival, troopers discovered two men who had been shot. The victims have been identified as Rai’Shon Eugene Delarge, 30, and Philip Avery Wilson, 34, both residents of Emporia, Virginia. Both men were employees of a company contracted by VDOT and subsequently died from their injuries. Authorities describe Boyce as approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing around 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She remains at large, and police emphasize that she is considered dangerous. The investigating agency, Virginia State Police, is urging the public to assist in locating the suspect.
