Lawrenceburg Police have identified 19-year-old Necardo Recarion Elijah King as a suspect in a series of thefts and a high-speed police pursuit that occurred on August 2. King, who is originally from Fairfield, Ohio, is currently an active fugitive in Butler County, Ohio, for driving under suspension and has an outstanding arrest warrant. He is now facing additional charges in Dearborn County, Indiana, which are being submitted to the Prosecutor's Office. The alleged crimes include Resisting Law Enforcement as a Level 6 Felony, Theft involving property valued between $750 and $50,000 as a Level 6 Felony, Theft as a Class A Misdemeanor, and Criminal Mischief as a Class B Misdemeanor. The incident began at the Deer Run Apartments, where three masked individuals allegedly stole a tire and wheel from a blue Chevrolet Camaro. The suspects then fled in a two-door Lexus with a temporary license plate, leading police on a dangerous chase along State Road 48 and U.S. 50. During the pursuit, the suspect vehicle reached speeds exceeding 125 miles per hour, nearly struck an SUV near Front Street, and traveled on the wrong side of the road multiple times before the chase ended at the Indiana state line. The Camaro owner reported the loss of a license plate, rear driver-side wheel, and tire, with a matching set listed online for $1,223. Additionally, Lawrenceburg Police received reports that the same group stole a hydraulic floor jack and a 4-way tire tool from a local AutoZone, valued at $148.98. King has been identified as one of the suspects involved in these incidents. The other two males involved remain unidentified, though a third male is believed to have participated but was not observed. Authorities are urging the public to contact the Lawrenceburg Police Department with any information regarding King's location or activities. King is considered armed and dangerous due to the nature of the high-speed chase and resistance to law enforcement.
