Philadelphia police have released new surveillance video in an ongoing investigation involving two suspects wanted for the shooting of an Uber driver. The incident occurred on June 20 in the Fairmount section of the city, specifically in the 2800 block of Poplar Street. According to law enforcement, the victim, identified as Danielle, a 38-year-old single mother, was sitting inside her vehicle when the suspects approached and knocked on her window. They then opened fire, shooting her during an attempted robbery. Despite the severity of the attack, Danielle managed to drive her car to the next intersection, where she was assisted by a passing trauma nurse and an emergency medical technician. She was subsequently hospitalized for eight days before being released. Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the two men responsible. One suspect is described as wearing a hooded jacket featuring a logo on the left chest and stripes above both elbows. The second suspect is described as wearing a hooded jacket or sweatshirt, track pants with designs or zippers at the ankles, and carrying a multi-colored backpack. Authorities emphasize that both suspects remain at large.
