Omaha Crime Stoppers is actively seeking the public's assistance in identifying two suspects wanted for a series of thefts that occurred in the Aksarben neighborhood. The investigation centers on incidents at the Broadmoor Apartments parking garage. On July 19, surveillance footage captured the two individuals entering the garage around 5 a.m. One suspect attempted to steal a motorcycle but was unsuccessful in removing it, though the victim later discovered the bike was missing its ignition. The second suspect was observed carrying a large bag toward a vehicle. Police believe the pair may have been aware of the camera locations within the complex, which requires a key fob for access. The suspects were seen fleeing the scene in a white GMC Envoy, estimated to be a model from 2002 to 2009. Additionally, police are linking the suspects to a theft that occurred the day prior, on July 18. Surveillance video shows a white GMC Envoy driving through a nearby parking lot where the suspects allegedly stole a burnisher, a piece of floor cleaning equipment valued at approximately $2,000. The suspects are described by their clothing: one individual wore a camouflage shirt featuring a flag design, while the other wore a black hat with a pink or red symbol on the front. Omaha Crime Stoppers, a nonprofit affiliated with the Omaha Police Department, is offering a cash reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of the suspects.
