The Boston Police Department is actively seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect responsible for a series of brazen home break-ins in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood. The investigation centers on two separate incidents involving occupied residences. The first incident occurred on Heath Street around 6:50 a.m. on the date of the report. Responding officers spoke with a victim who reported that an unknown man climbed through his bedroom window while he was sleeping. The suspect attempted to pull off the victim's blanket before fleeing back through the same window. The second incident took place early Sunday morning, where a woman reported that someone broke into her apartment while she was asleep. The victim stated that the intruder placed her pet inside her bedroom and closed the door. Upon discovering the man standing in her bathroom, she fled, and the suspect escaped via the fire escape after stealing a laptop, a Kindle, and a purse. The Boston Police Department has provided a description of the suspect as a Black male in his late teens or early 20s, with a slim build and short hair. In one instance, he was described as wearing a dark-colored shirt and dark-colored jeans.
