The Philadelphia Police Department's Northwest Detective Division is actively seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating an unknown male suspect wanted for commercial burglary. The investigation centers on an incident that occurred on the morning of August 9, 2026, at approximately 2:30 AM. The suspect is alleged to have targeted the Citizens Bank located at 6324 Stenton Avenue in Philadelphia. According to police reports, surveillance footage captured the individual breaking a door window with a red brick to gain entry into the financial institution. Once inside, the suspect is reported to have stolen several blank checks. The suspect is described as a black male dressed entirely in black, including a mask, hoodie, jacket, pants, and shoes. He was also carrying a black bookbag featuring an emblem for the ENON Tabernacle Baptist Church. Following the burglary, the suspect was last seen walking northbound away from Stenton Avenue, heading toward Tulpehocken Street. Authorities have noted that this individual is also a suspect in a separate commercial burglary at the same bank location, which took place on August 5, 2026. During that earlier incident, the suspect was reportedly wearing all black clothing but utilized a partial white mask. The PPD Northwest Detective Division urges anyone with information regarding the identity or current location of this suspect to contact law enforcement immediately.
