The incident took place on the evening of Sunday, August 2, 2026, just before 10:30 p.m. According to police reports, the suspect approached a 25-year-old male victim on a residential block near the intersection of 80th Street and 97th Avenue. The suspect, described as a shirtless stranger, allegedly body-slammed the victim to the ground with significant force, similar to a linebacker tackle, before forcibly snatching the victim's wallet.
