Despite the intensity of the fire and the resulting extensive damage to the property, all six adult residents managed to escape the home safely before firefighters arrived. No injuries were reported among the occupants. The American Red Cross subsequently stepped in to provide assistance to the displaced residents. On-scene fire investigators determined that the cause of the blaze was incendiary, confirming it as arson.
