Boston Police are actively seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted for a series of alleged break-ins at apartments on Heath Street in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood. The investigation centers on two separate incidents that occurred in early August, during which the suspect allegedly entered residences and fled upon encountering occupants. The first incident took place around 6:50 a.m. on August 5 at 182 Heath Street. According to police reports, a victim described an unknown male climbing through his bedroom window while he was sleeping. The suspect allegedly attempted to pull the victim's blanket before escaping through the same window. The second incident occurred earlier, around 3:50 a.m. on August 2, at 180 Heath Street. A victim reported waking to a noise and observing an unknown man shining a flashlight into her room. The suspect placed her pet inside a room and closed the door, then was seen standing in her bathroom. Upon seeing the victim, the suspect fled via the fire escape, having stolen a laptop, a Kindle, and a purse. The suspect is described as a black male in his late teens or early twenties with a slim build and short hair. District E-13 Detectives in Jamaica Plain are leading the investigation. Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the suspect's identity or whereabouts to contact them immediately at 617-343-5628. The suspect remains at large as of the latest police update.
