Philadelphia police have issued an arrest warrant for 35-year-old Shariff Perry, who is wanted in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on the front porch of a North Philadelphia home. The incident took place on August 8 on the 2800 block of North 24th Street. According to reports, Perry is accused of killing 61-year-old Michelle Wilson and wounding her 67-year-old husband during the attack. Investigators state that Wilson was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to her neck and back. She was transported to a local hospital but later succumbed to her injuries. Her husband was also found wounded on the porch and was hospitalized in stable condition. Surveillance video captured a man carrying a firearm shortly before the shooting, providing investigators with a visual identification of the suspect. Crime scene units processed the area, placing evidence markers along the street, sidewalk, and porch. Police have not yet disclosed a motive for the violence and continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the gunfire.
