The incident took place on the evening of Saturday, July 25, at approximately 10 p.m., at a venue located on Second Avenue near 41st Street in the Sunset Park neighborhood. According to police reports, the suspect approached a 33-year-old man and struck him in the face with a hookah. The attack resulted in lacerations to the victim's chin. Despite the injuries, the victim declined to seek medical attention at the scene. Following the assault, the attacker fled the location on foot and has not been located. The NYPD has released a photograph of the suspect to the public in hopes of identifying and apprehending the individual responsible for the beating.
