New York City police are seeking two men wanted for allegedly snatching a purse containing $5,000 from a 68-year-old woman at Joe's Pizzeria in Cypress Hills on May 4. The incident occurred just before 12:30 p.m. at 1121 Liberty Ave., moments after the woman withdrew cash from a nearby bank. According to authorities, the woman handed her purse to a 68-year-old acquaintance inside the pizzeria. The suspects entered the establishment, argued with the acquaintance, and forcibly took the purse before fleeing northbound toward Lincoln Avenue. No injuries were reported. One suspect was last seen wearing all black and carrying a red Target shopping bag, while the other wore a black hat, blue surgical mask, light blue jeans, black sneakers, and a black jacket.
