The FBI Detroit field office has announced that Darren Anthony Robinson, founder of QYU Holdings, has been added to the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. Robinson is accused of orchestrating a massive fraud scheme that allegedly raised $100 million from investors across the United States, Panama, Canada, and other international locations. Authorities state that the funds were purportedly intended for trading in the foreign currency exchange market. Instead, the FBI alleges that Robinson engaged in a Ponzi-style operation, using investor money to pay returns to other participants, cover business expenses, and fund a lavish personal lifestyle. An arrest warrant for Robinson was issued in January 2024 by the Eastern District of Michigan, where he is believed to have had dozens of victims. Federal agents report that Robinson has been a fugitive since November 2023, after he allegedly cut his GPS tether and fled the country. Since then, he is believed to have traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and the world, with reported ties to South Florida, suburban Atlanta, Southern California, Panama, and the United Arab Emirates. The FBI is urging any individuals who believe they may have been victims of this scheme to come forward. Potential victims are encouraged to visit the FBI website or call the tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI to provide information. The FBI continues to seek the public's assistance in locating Robinson, who remains at large.
