Authorities in Florida are actively searching for a trio of suspects wanted in connection with a widespread series of thefts from cemeteries across the United States. The individuals, identified as Porsche Bancroft, 32, her boyfriend Drake Lee Milam, 33, and her mother Angela Garrett, 52, are alleged to have conducted a tour of the eastern half of the country, breaking into niches and mausoleums to steal family heirlooms and valuables. All three suspects are originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, but are currently at large and face arrest warrants issued by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Florida. Corporal Cole Brazee of the sheriff’s office stated that the group targeted at least nine states, including Oklahoma, Minnesota, Texas, Georgia, Iowa, North Carolina, and New York, in addition to numerous incidents in Florida. Detectives are currently investigating 20 cases within Florida and believe the number of victims could be significantly higher. The suspects are wanted for extradition back to Florida to face charges related to these thefts. Law enforcement officials have issued a warning to the public, noting that many victims may not yet realize their property has been stolen. Residents are urged to check on the status of valuables placed in family niches or mausoleums. The Central Florida Crimeline is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of Bancroft, Milam, and Garrett. Authorities emphasize the importance of community vigilance in helping to locate these individuals and recover stolen items. Tips can be submitted through the Crimeline tip line. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to identify all potential victims and apprehend the suspects.
