Beaverton Police are actively seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating suspects involved in two separate violent incidents that occurred on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. The primary investigation focuses on a brutal assault that left a male victim severely beaten and lying on a sidewalk. Detectives believe the victim was attacked between 1:50 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. near Southwest Lombard Avenue and Southwest Canyon Road. The victim sustained significant head injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Police have reviewed video evidence and are urging anyone who was in the vicinity of the Beaverton Transit Center or the nearby shopping center near Big 5 Sporting Goods during the early morning hours to come forward. A 30-year-old man was found with life-threatening injuries. Investigators are currently looking for a suspect believed to be connected to an early-2000s silver-colored Honda Odyssey.
