Matthew Christopher Flores Semyonov, a 27-year-old man from Arizona, is currently an at-large fugitive wanted on multiple serious charges following the deaths of his parents. Authorities are seeking Flores Semyonov in connection with the first-degree murder of Hector and Larissa Flores, whose bodies were discovered buried in the backyard of their Litchfield Park home. The incident is believed to have occurred earlier in August, with the couple last being seen alive prior to July 29th. On August 4th, Avondale Police Department officers responded to a welfare check request from concerned family members who had not heard from the couple since late July. Upon entering the residence, officers found significant blood evidence and signs of an attempted cleanup. The bodies were subsequently located buried in the yard. Investigators believe Flores Semyonov, who had recently moved back into the family home, is responsible for the killings. Prior to the incident, family members reported that the suspect made vague threats, such as stating, “you’ll get what’s coming to you,” and engaged in erratic behavior, including watering plants at night and claiming the plants spoke to him. Authorities also note that Flores Semyonov became increasingly agitated after learning that his mother intended to remain with his father despite previous instances of infidelity by Hector Flores. By the time authorities discovered the victims, Flores Semyonov had allegedly fled the United States. The U.S. Marshals Service has issued a federal warrant for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution, alongside state charges including first-degree murder, domestic violence, and abandonment or concealment of a dead body. The specific destination of his flight and the method of his departure remain unknown. The Avondale Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service are urging the public to remain vigilant. Anyone with information regarding the location of Matthew Christopher Flores Semyonov is encouraged to contact local law enforcement or the U.S. Marshals Service tip line immediately. This case remains an active investigation with the suspect still at large.
