Philadelphia police are actively searching for 35-year-old Shariff Perry, who is wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of 61-year-old Michelle Wilson. The incident occurred on August 9 in a North Philadelphia neighborhood. According to authorities, Perry opened fire on Wilson and her 67-year-old husband while the couple was sitting on their porch. Both victims were rushed to the hospital, but Wilson was pronounced dead shortly after midnight. Her husband remains hospitalized in stable condition. Detectives have released surveillance footage showing a man walking down the street, retrieving a gun from a bag, and concealing it in his coat, followed by flashes of gunfire. Approximately 20 shell casings consistent with a handgun were recovered from the scene, and bullet holes were visible on the exterior of the Wilsons' home. Perry has been charged with murder and weapons offenses. A warrant for his arrest was issued on Wednesday. The Philadelphia Police Department is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to Perry's arrest and conviction. The motive for the shooting remains unknown. Neighbors described the Wilsons as hard-working individuals who had recently started a sandwich and taco truck business in the area.
