Authorities in Southwest Florida are searching for Juan Zambrano, a 30-year-old Fort Myers resident who is currently at large and wanted on serious criminal charges. Zambrano is sought for aggravated battery and aggravated child abuse following an incident that resulted in substantial injuries to two victims. According to law enforcement reports, the incident occurred after Zambrano, who had been drinking, entered a room shared by his roommates and attempted to initiate a physical confrontation. When his roommates attempted to ignore his behavior, Zambrano allegedly grabbed one individual by the neck and began punching them. The situation escalated further when he reportedly broke a beer bottle and struck both an adult and a teenager, causing significant harm. Following the altercation, deputies arrested Zambrano, and he was subsequently held in the Lee County Jail on multiple violent charges. He was later released pending a scheduled court appearance but failed to appear, prompting the issuance of a warrant for his arrest. The suspect is described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing approximately 105 pounds. Law enforcement officials have stated that upon his apprehension, Zambrano will not be afforded the immediate opportunity to post bond. The Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers agency is urging the public to assist in locating the suspect.
