A Cleveland man with multiple outstanding felony warrants fled a traffic stop in Ravenna, Ohio, leading police on a high-speed chase that ended in a crash. At approximately 1:30 a.m. on May 16, officers stopped the suspect for driving and equipment violations on South Diamond Street. After initial contact, the suspect accelerated and fled south on South Prospect Street (State Route 44). The SUV failed to negotiate the curve onto the westbound I-76 on-ramp, overturned multiple times, and ejected both the driver and a passenger. Both individuals sustained unspecified injuries and were transported to University Hospitals Portage Medical Center. The suspect, identified as Stone, faces charges including failure to comply with a traffic stop, a third-degree felony.
