Chicago police are actively searching for two to four suspects wanted in connection with a series of armed robberies that have targeted businesses across three Chicago neighborhoods this summer. The investigation focuses on incidents that occurred between July 2 and August 11, where the suspects allegedly arrived at various locations in a stolen gray or white Acura ADX. Upon entering the businesses, the group reportedly forced their way inside, demanded keys and access codes to safes, and stole money and jewelry. During the course of these crimes, victims were physically attacked, and in at least one instance, a victim had their wallet and cellphone taken. The robberies took place in the LeClaire Courts, Wicker Park, and Heart of Chicago neighborhoods. Specific incidents include a robbery on July 2 at the 4500 block of South Cicero Avenue, another on July 6 at the 1400 block of North Milwaukee Avenue, a third on August 1 at the same South Cicero Avenue location, and a final incident on August 11 at the 2300 block of West Cermak Road. Police have released video evidence to assist in identifying the suspects, who are described as Black males wearing dark masks. Physical descriptions indicate the individuals stand between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall and weigh between 130 and 230 pounds. One suspect was noted wearing a dark Glock hoodie, while another wore orange-lens sunglasses. Authorities are urging the public to come forward with any information that could help locate these individuals. Residents with tips are encouraged to contact Area One detectives at 312-747-8384, Area Four detectives at 312-746-8253, or Area Five detectives at 312-746-7394.
