Clovis police have identified and issued an active arrest warrant for 34-year-old David Leandrew Delhoyo, who is wanted in connection with a shooting incident that occurred earlier this month. The suspect is charged with aggravated battery, classified as a third-degree felony. The incident took place just before midnight on August 9 in the area near East 9th and Wallace Street in Clovis, New Mexico. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 30-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital for initial treatment and was subsequently transferred to a facility in Lubbock for further care. Authorities have confirmed that the victim’s condition is stable. Delhoyo remains at large, and law enforcement is urging the public to assist in his apprehension.
