Philadelphia police are searching for a suspect described as a black male between the ages of 16 and 20 who remains at large following a series of disturbing incidents early Wednesday morning. The individual, wearing a distinctive Chucky doll-style Halloween mask, allegedly targeted six people at random within a 15-minute window. The harassment began at approximately 5:20 a.m. at a Dunkin Donuts, where the suspect was refused service due to erratic behavior. He then proceeded to approach pedestrians in the area, filming the encounters on his cell phone. A particularly alarming incident involved a female jogger whom the suspect approached while holding his phone up. He allegedly asked her, 'Are you ready to die?' twice. Startled by the threat, the jogger fled, sustaining a leg injury in the process and screaming for help. Another witness, identified as Jameka, intervened by kicking the suspect in the chest after attempting to warn the jogger. Police Captain Jason Smith confirmed that the suspect is facing multiple charges, including terroristic threats, harassment, assault, reckless endangerment, and intimidation. Authorities also indicated a weapons charge may apply, noting the suspect held his arm behind his back in a manner suggesting he was concealing an object, although surveillance video did not show a weapon. The Philadelphia Police Department has launched a manhunt, with officials emphasizing their commitment to locating the individual.
