Houston police are searching for 51-year-old Kendrick Maurice Williams, who is wanted in connection with a deadly shooting incident that occurred in southeast Houston. Williams has been formally charged with the murder of a 44-year-old woman and three counts of aggravated assault after allegedly injuring three other victims. The incident took place on the morning of August 15, 2026, at approximately 2:35 a.m. at a residence located at 9338 Fairland Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered the female victim dead in the driveway with multiple gunshot wounds. Additionally, two women and one man were found at the scene with gunshot injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. According to law enforcement, an eyewitness reported that Williams arrived at the location upset with his girlfriend. Upon finding the four victims inside a vehicle parked in the driveway, Williams allegedly fired shots into the vehicle, striking all four individuals. The identity of the deceased woman is currently pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The Houston Police Department Homicide Division is leading the investigation and is urging the public to assist in locating Williams.
