Philadelphia Police are actively searching for a suspect accused of terrorizing and harassing multiple individuals in the Center City area. The incident occurred early Wednesday morning, starting around 5:18 a.m., during a nearly 20-minute period. The individual is described as a black male with a thin build, standing approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, and estimated to be between the ages of 16 and 20. Witnesses report that the suspect was wearing a distinctive Chucky doll Halloween-style face mask. During the spree, the suspect allegedly accosted numerous people, with police believing at least six individuals were targeted. Surveillance video captures the suspect chasing a female jogger near City Hall, during which he allegedly asked, "Are you ready to die?" The victim fled, screaming for help, and sustained a leg injury during the ordeal. Another victim, identified only as Jameka, confronted the suspect, kicking him in the chest and yelling at him to stop before he fled. Police Captain Jason Smith noted that the suspect appeared disoriented and was holding a cellphone, seemingly recording the interactions for his own purposes. Authorities are scouring social media for any posted material to aid in identification. The suspect is wanted for charges including terroristic threats, harassment, simple assault, reckless endangerment, and intimidation. Police are urging anyone else who may have been victimized by this individual to come forward with information.
