Authorities in Manatee County, Florida, are actively searching for Quazone Elijawun Taylor, a 34-year-old Black male, who is wanted in connection with an attempted murder incident. Taylor is described as standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds. The investigation centers on a violent assault that took place on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, shortly before 3:00 p.m. in the 600 block of 33rd Avenue Drive East in Bradenton. According to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, Taylor was visiting the residence when he attacked a 15-year-old victim who lives at the home. The two individuals were sitting outside when Taylor stabbed the juvenile multiple times in the neck and upper body for an unknown reason. Deputies responded to the scene and discovered the victim suffering from serious injuries. The 15-year-old was transported to a regional hospital, where his condition is reported as serious but not expected to be life-threatening. Following the attack, Taylor fled the area and remains at large. Detectives with the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office are urging the public to assist in locating the suspect.
