Jesse Waylon Fulks, 37, remains at large more than a year after absconding from domestic violence prosecution in Alachua County. Fulks is wanted for failing to appear at a pretrial conference on June 17, 2025, for which a warrant was issued by Judge Meshon Rawls with a $2,000 bond. The underlying case stems from an incident on January 10, 2025, when Alachua County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Fulks and charged him with misdemeanor domestic battery. According to the arrest report, Fulks struck a victim’s hand during an argument over alcohol, knocked over a coffee cup, bumped his chest against the victim, and spat on her face. The incident was recorded by the victim’s son. Fulks also admitted to being assaulted by a young adult male at the residence, though that individual claimed self-defense. Although Fulks was released on recognizance with conditions to avoid contact with the victim and appear in court, he waived presence at most hearings. He was admitted to the River Oaks Treatment Center on January 18, 2025, for mental health and substance abuse treatment. Prosecutors formally charged him with misdemeanor domestic battery on February 12, 2025. Fulks’ registered address is in Williston, Florida, but his current whereabouts are unconfirmed. The Alachua County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Fulks. Court proceedings in the case have not continued since the warrant was issued.
