Kentwood Police have identified a person of interest and located a suspect vehicle in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed 17-year-old Stephon Harris. The incident occurred on May 6 in Kentwood, Michigan, with Harris found deceased the following morning. Investigators describe the suspect vehicle as a dark-colored SUV with front and passenger-side damage. Police used license plate reader technology and CCTV footage to track the vehicle, which has been secured for the investigation. The person of interest has not been named, and the investigation remains active. Harris was walking home from his job at KFC when the crash occurred.
