The New Orleans Police Department is currently seeking the public's assistance in locating Charimere C. Phillips, a suspect wanted in connection with a theft incident. Phillips is described as a Black female, born on May 3, 1988, standing 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 240 pounds. According to police reports, the incident occurred on August 4, 2026, when Phillips visited the residence of the victim located in the 2600 block of Wall Boulevard in New Orleans. Upon her departure from the property, the victim discovered that several items of personal property were missing. Among the stolen items were the victim's Louisiana Identification card and Social Security card. Investigators are urging anyone who may have seen Phillips or has information regarding her whereabouts to come forward. The public is reminded that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
