The incident took place at approximately 1:33 p.m. at a Dollar Tree store located in the Campbellton Plaza shopping center, situated near the intersection of Campbellton Road SW and Delowe Drive in southwest Atlanta. According to police reports, the suspect entered the business and brandished a handgun at an employee. Under threat of violence, the individual demanded cash from the register and fled the scene with more than $800. Surveillance video has been released showing the gunman during the commission of the crime.
