The incident began when officers attempted to stop a stolen vehicle on Country Club Drive near Murchison Road. The driver refused to yield, leading police into a neighborhood off Frost Drive. After the vehicle briefly stopped, the driver accelerated, prompting two officers to fire their weapons. The suspect fled the scene after crashing into residential property but was not located during overnight searches involving ground units, tracking dogs, and aerial support. Authorities confirmed no injuries to officers and stated it is unknown if the suspect sustained harm. The two officers involved were placed on administrative leave pending investigation.
